A Year of Growth, Care, and Communit

Reflecting on A Kinder Nest in 2025
As 2025 comes to a close, I find myself pausing to reflect on what A Kinder Nest has grown into over the past year. What began as a small idea rooted in low-tox, sustainable living in Singapore has slowly become something shaped by community, care, and shared intention.
We officially opened our doors on 3 November 2025. Since then, more than 500 families have taken gentle steps with us toward low-tox, more mindful living. Each conversation, message, and order has been a reminder that this work is not just about products, but about supporting families in making thoughtful choices for their homes and everyday lives.
Small Steps Toward Sustainable Living in Singapore
Beyond our store, 2025 also became a year of giving back in small but meaningful ways. We worked with a local organisation to collect over 80kg of pre-loved clothing. These pieces were carefully sorted and sent to a community in Batam, where they found new homes and new purpose.
Seeing everyday items continue their journey elsewhere was a quiet reminder that sustainability and social care often go hand in hand.
Supporting Families Through Community Efforts
We also organised a school uniform donation drive, supporting four families who needed help preparing their children for school. Uniforms may seem like a simple thing, but access to them can make a real difference. Seeing these uniforms worn again reminded us that care and dignity often begin with having what you need.
One of the most meaningful moments this year came from community-led action. With Kellyn’s initiative and encouragement, our wider community came together to collect unused notebooks and stationery. These supplies were passed on to a childcare centre supporting children from low-income families. Knowing that these items will be used with care, helping children learn and grow, meant a great deal to all of us.
A Thoughtful Milestone With Singapore Art Museum
2025 also brought an unexpected milestone. We were honoured to be invited by the Singapore Art Museum to be a stockist at their museum shop. Being part of a space that celebrates creativity, culture, and thoughtful living felt deeply aligned with A Kinder Nest’s values.
It was a reminder that sustainability can sit quietly within everyday spaces, reaching people in gentle, meaningful ways.
Looking Ahead to 2026, With Intention
At its heart, A Kinder Nest has always been about more than low-tox products or sustainable swaps. It is about thoughtful living, community support, and contributing where we can, however small the effort may seem. We believe that social impact does not always have to be large-scale. Sometimes, it begins with showing up, listening, and choosing to care.
As we step into 2026, our hope is to continue growing A Kinder Nest with the same intention and heart. If you’re ever planning a small giving effort or community initiative and need support, please feel free to reach out. We would truly be happy to help.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us.
