Hi, I’m Suhua, a mother of two and the founder of A Kinder Nest. My journey toward sustainability began, as many do, in the quiet moments of everyday life—specifically, at our family’s dinner table.

I remember looking at my children’s plastic bowls and plates, scratched and worn from daily use. It hadn’t occurred to me before just how much plastic was a part of our routine. But in that moment, I couldn’t shake the thought: with every meal, were they also ingesting tiny plastic particles?

That realization stayed with me. It made me rethink not just what we ate, but what we ate from. I started questioning our dependence on plastic—not only for my children’s health but also for the world they would grow up in. I wanted to create a home that aligned with the values I held close: simplicity, durability, and a deeper respect for nature.

That search led me to stainless steel—strong, safe, and endlessly reusable. It felt like a natural choice, a small but meaningful shift in how we lived. And I knew I couldn’t be the only one looking for something better.

That’s why I created A Kinder Nest—a space for thoughtful, sustainable alternatives that support a life of intention and care. Each product reflects my belief that the things we use every day should be good for both our families and the planet.
